That's a solid looking ship with some seriously big warp engines, at least in relation to the main hull. Can you post the source of the design?

The ship is one of three that Caudex (ex- Hullbreach) posted in the 2D Art area sometime back. I downloaded all three of his designs and put them in my assembly queue. While figuring out my Klingon texture scheme I cobbled on this and the Monitor that is posted. No pics yet for the Monitor - it's about 40% along.

I like this design except for the nacelle supports. I can't see any reason for having four flat supports like that. Since they're so thin and wide, they are neither strong nor large enough to carry much plasma or whatever.

Yeah, it makes you wonder. I have left off the rigging wires, too much like a WWI fighter plane.

Rigging wires? Are you serious?
I agree with Masao. How would plasma be carried to the nacelles unless it was generated in the nacelle itself, in which case the strut would only need to be strong enough to withstand the stresses of warp flight.

:D Hey man, I only drive 'em. I don't know what makes 'em work. (Kelley's Heros)
I have an alternate with twin pylons not quads - lookie here (http://3d.concept40.com/images/conyards/).
BTW - you will see the Monitor WIP too.

I like those last two angles. This ship looks lke something out of the late 1940s, either a B-29/-50 or an early X plane. I wonder how it would look with a chrome or highly polished titanium finish. You need some pin-up nose art, too!

That would be cool (steel finish). Nose-art, I'm lookin....
