I love the cartoony Superman/Batman bit. The old-style video game animation is kind of neat, actually, as something different. The music is also really cool... isn't that the stuff from the Two Towers trailer? The final product should be pretty cool.

Pretty good. Brings back a bit of nostalgia from old games like curator said.
Keep up the good work

You show aquite a bit of creativity despite the limits of the software. If you need a cheap/free 3D program with a more muscle, try Blender 3D, I've seen some really nice anmation produced with it.

thanks :) iv gotten way better since i made the teaser if u put in the effort u really can get some great results with milkshape (theres no lighting which makes a huge differance the more and more i watch stuff like the incredables i cant help but feel that the improvments have a lot more to do with the techonogy and improved lighting realism then it does with the talent of the peep making the meshses and textures lol but oh well i can live with out lighting for now) for forgotten sins though im still going to make it all low poly low detail and just over all low quality lol cuz i figure hey the plan was to make a full length all cgi movie with no budget (i dont mean a low budget i mean NO budget lol even all the programs i use are ethere free or i got a serial number or crack for it with out actually buying) the old n64 look is kinda growing on me and im more interested in trying to get a full 2 hour movie done then anything else but trust me if/when i finish forgotten sins the movie after it (fall of the gods) will be amazing :)

i havent worked on forgotten sins in a while and i have a ton of other stuff (im helping with a few other fan films and school takes up most of my time) but for some reasone iv been thinking about fs more and more lately and it will get done sooner or later :)

FORGOTTEN SINS IS CANCELLED BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

well ive cancelled forgotten sins! i was proud of the low detail blocky models when i first made em (i was just starting to do 3d stuff then) but they just look pathetic now lol anyways i fixed them up a little, made some new stuff, and animated a bunch of randome scenes from the movie in 3dsmax (so it now has antialasing, partical effects, lighting, shadows, partical effects, some volumetric lighting, and in general it just looks better lol) and useing all of that i put together a 6 min trailer that summerises the film that i never did actually make :D

now all you need to see it is winrar (for decompression) which you can get 4 free at http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/WinRAR--Beta-Download-2461.html and quicktime (to play the video) which is free at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html

DOWNLOADS

compressed to be small)
http://rapidshare.de/files/25710636/forgotten_sins_small.rar 28.55 mb (compress to be small and look like shazbot so dont download this one unless u have a very slow internet connection)

good quality)
http://rapidshare.de/files/25760945/forgotten_sins_medium.rar 90.19mb (and well worth the file size since it downloads fast and has pretty good picture quality)

perfect quality) and if u have seen the medium quality copy and liked it and want the top quality one u can add me on msn (slingersfan@hotmail.com) and i will give it to you there (compressed with winrar its 343 mb)

script) http://rapidshare.de/files/25710957/forgotten_sins_script.doc

original teaser) http://rapidshare.de/files/25711122/forgotten_sins_teaser.WMV

WHATS TO COME

i will begin work on behind the scenes stuff later on and the original fotage that was ment for the film before i began work on the summerised 6min trailer will be online tonight along with a poster

oh and if rapidshare is working for u then just talk to me on msn and il send u the files

Must have taken a long time to make? Im trying out some animations in Poser heh.

cool :)

actually it didnt take too long i mean it did but thats mostly just because i didnt work on it that often (woohoo for lazyness) since i had made just about all of the models and textures when i was first learning cgi i didnt really have to do anything but the animation which saved a lot of time (well ok i fixed them up a little and made a few rooms but its not like anythings all that detailed lol) and since everything is so low poly and the textures are so small and everything it even rendered relativly fast so i didnt even have to wait much after i finished scenes before moveing on to the next

i started learnign and workin on the film atleast 2 years ago but even with my extream lazyness the trailer only took me about 2 months (thats including the weeks of doing nothing when i didnt feel like it lol)

Poser animation is ok. Im trying to do a full length video with it but the avi is large by the time it is done and that it's only under a minute and took over two hours to render. There has got to be an easier way. I have Studio Max 7 might try it in that. Animation renders faster. I have some up on my goth site for the time being.
