It is another fan based project, and lack of mention has been partially my fault, and partially the fact that the man in charge of it is in the Coast Gaurd and is at sea for 3 months at a time.

A legit press release will be forth coming, and more info will be available once I get the official website online, which is currently high on my list of things to do.

Is this during the time Kirk was aboard Republic, or at a later period?

this is a much later time period than that.

while Ryan hasn't set an exact date in stone, Republic occurs in the same period as TOS, tentatively around 3 rd or 4th year of Kirk's Enterprise.

Some design elements of our Constitution class ship have some traits of the refit Enterprise, alluding to being very close to the refit timline of the original Enterprise.

We are currently waiting on a re write of the script. Ryan wasn't happy with some elements of his script, and we felt a few character tweaks were in order as things seemed a bit too moody and dark in some spots.

The Project owner has just recently finished his hitch with the Coast Guard.

The writer is in re write hell or something.

I have the CG assets basicalyl completed.


If there isn't some progress scriptwise soon, I'm going to pitch one of my ideas as a script.

I am currenlty doing an RPG around this time period (TOS/TMP) in a Klingon B'rel class BoP (1st of her kind). I would be very interested in this once it is online. Since during this time period the Fed and Klin are not on the best of terms ::evil grin:: :bash: :drevil:
