The Sci-Fi has a lot of one shot movies (movies made not having a part 2) What movies do you think would make great tv shows. I'm thinking the movie from a few years back where the astronaut died & woke up underwater to end up running around with Samual Clemmons aka Mark Twain was pretty cool. Anybody else got any cool ideas?

Reign of Fire, where they're fighting the dragons. The show could take place during the years Christian Bale and Gerard Butler and the gang spent in hiding fighting the dragons.

Ewww! That'd be a cool series, but MAN! I wonder how much they'd have to shell out for special effects? Can't do a show about dragon fighters with having a dragon show up every once in awhile.

Regardless, I'd love to see it happen.

CGI. Think about the effects budget on a show like Enterprise. They always had a new alien ship to mesh and effects to get done. Hell, the same could be said for DS9 and Voyager, they had a lot of effects in every show.

Probably one of the best instances of them doing a one shot movie into a TV series was the Highlander TV show. (I know they made sequels to the movie, but I hate them and blatantly refuse to admit they are sequels. I, instead, prefer to think of them as separate crappy movies that have nothing to do with the original.)
