Ep 1-16 The Angriest Angel

McQueen, a grounded ex-member of the elite fighter team The Angry Angels, insists that he be allowed to fly a dangerous mission to destroy the Chig's newest spacecraft.

I haven't seen this series in a long time, so my memory is rather fuzzy. If this is the correct episode I have in mind, then this one would have to be my favorite of them all. I absolutely love the way the end of this episode was cut together, with McQueen battling the enemy fighter, his shots corresponding with the shots fired during the funeral. Had a sad and yet somehow romantic feel to the battle and the reasons behind it.

The best of all episodes, for my taste, were we find out a little bit more of the darkness inside Lt.Col. McQueen - Unfortunately: Kelly - one of my fav Pilots died in this episode :cry:

Yeah, losing a favorite character always hits hard; especially if it's female (at least for me, in any event).

Still, we end up losing them all anyhow, since the show was axed. For me, I'll always be left wondering if Vansen and Damphousse ever got off that planet...if they even made it down in one piece.
