he, he, chicken, yummy ! ;)
why not trying to make those beams/extensions at the back sweepable ?
can't figure out if it will look more chickenlike or less...

if it's a wip: why not adding some details like vents or "half open" pipes or machinery parts or the standard windows ?

the overall shape and the texture are brilliant btw :D

That's a rather interesting design, but you have to change the name. We have seen some interesting names for Rommie ships coming out of this place, but Elbow takes the cake :)

It seems rather long and narrow to be a Rommie ship, although the design cues certainly fit in with the previous ships. What is this type of ship used for? Long range exploration? Transport?

Thanks everyone!

It's still a WIP so I'm looking for suggestions and have some detail ideas in mind. I considered and tried sweep booms - didn't like it.

It's a light cruiser and I have yet to figure a scale so it is not seen up close to anything yet.

skyhawk, i noticed the ship in your avatar pic and wonder if there are any larger pictures avail somewhere ?

The name "Elbow" was thought up by Dan Carlson, who has been working with me on Romulan War stuff. The name is consistent with the other demeaning names Earthlings use for Romulans ships. Ships with names starting with E are probably escorts. How about "Earwax" "Echidna" "Eclair" "Ecdysiast" "Edema" "Edelweis" "Eightball" "Emu"?

Wonder what the Earwax class would look like...

As far as my avatar goes, you can see the image I got it from at:

I took a scene from the movie and added in my mesh. Here are some other pics. Sorry they are so dark.

Cool! That's your original design, isnt' it? Fits in well with the movie.

I'm afraid to think what an Earwax class ship would look like. Yecccchhhh!

It's not an original design, rather it is based off of the schematics of the transport that Warrior sent me.
