Re: YT1300-MILLENNIUM FALCON
Exit Stage Left?
Sounds like a great name for a 'Rush' album.
Really though, the ship does look fantastic.
Now if only I could get you to make a 'Godzilla 2000' mesh. LOL!

Re: YT1300-MILLENNIUM FALCON
I've tried a few times to build a Godzilla - I even have a Maya tutorial - but I am just not good enough in Lightwave to pull it off. I figured that if I could get at least the basic body of it in LWO I could do the rest in ZBrush. I've just never gotten that far. LOL!

Re: YT1300-MILLENNIUM FALCON
Well, after seeing your work - I'd say that you're working the right way for you.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is wow'd by your meshes.
This Falcon you're doing is amazing so far and I'm sure the finished version is going to rock.
Oh, hey - If you're still thinking of making the Buck Rogers outfit I found a 'starter suit' for the M3 figure. It's the basic mesh pre-rigged so that it'll conform to the figure mesh. If you're interested in it let me know and I'll send you a link. A lot of the custom stuff for the figures is built off of things like this.

Re: YT1300-MILLENNIUM FALCON
I could never undertake anything so detailed as this... mightly impressed by your progress here. I'll keep an eye open in this thread... might learn a lot of things just by watching your work develop.
Cheers! — Möe

Re: YT1300-MILLENNIUM FALCON
I hope it lives up to all your high praise When I release it I want it to be as PC friendly as possible for all to make use of it...
but I have been distracted with real life pursuits to give it the time I need too .. should get back to normal in 2 weeks or so

It is looking really good. I hate meshing pipes and little details. Your pulling it off well.....

Great start Teranis, As for how long, I rekon the longer it takes the better it will look. I love the detail you have there. I assume this is made from individual meshes? Great work all the same.
