3 D CGI BSG: Capran Freighter

LW conversion of Devilman's Freighter. Basically a re-done model and textured by me (original version has no textures).

You have some wonderful swirls of color and I like how you contrast that with the silloutte of the ship.

I would though like to see a little softer, maybe blurred by a few pixels on the planet. It seems a little high in contrast.

Good work!

By 'real' you mean 'none', right?

Well it's an impressive shot, for sure. I do like the way the silhouette contrasts with the brightnes of the background. I just wish I could see more of the ship.

Looks great, though I wish it wasn't so compressed.

Compressed? It's 1024x768!

Yeah, compressed. 1024x768 can still be compressed, and this looks like you had your Photoshop settings around 3 or 4, I would like to see a higher quality/less compressed version.

So, think we could see a less-'KB compressed' one?
Cuz that pic looks quite awesome

Indeed - looks like a possible Poster to me. (wink, wink - nudge, nudge)

I'm with Graham, though - perhaps a bit more self-illumination on the ship would show her off better. But overall, I like the pic - it's even in my desktop rotation now.

It'll be hard to make it larger than it is, and I'm not sure an uncompressed version will help much, because the background image is only 800x600 expanded to the 1024x768 render size.

But if you still want the larger and the uncompressed, I'll make a version of that....
